Dear Scott: 14 months ago I had stopped exercising due to hip and lower back pain. As the months progressed I then stopped cleaning, yardwork, golf, walking, stairs and many functional activities. I was unable to sit in a chair for 5 minutes without having to reposition myself. By the time I went to my doctor, I was frequently waking through the night from pain. It was two months after that doctor’s appointment that I came to you for physical therapy. I thought it was strange going for physical therapy because I thought PT was for accident victims. I have learned a valuable lesson. Last year, with each activity quietly vanishing and each day becoming more difficult to rise from bed, my spirits were dampened. Aches can make a person feel very old. In such a short time, you have brought back my quality of life. Not to mention how much you’ve taught me. Thank you for also helping me to address the infertility using myofascial release treatment, I was apprehensive at first, but saw the connection with my other hip and back pain issues, and was amazed by the good results. I was very closed to another IVF cycle, emotionally I had been spent and the thought of another IVF cycle was darkening to me. It was wonderful to have another option. Repairing my body was the only aspect I thought I was going to receive when I came to see you; the bonus was reclaiming my spirit. You’ve brought my life back to me. You should know, that after much thought, the other facilities offering this treatment would not have been appropriate for me. Early on, I needed to have the comfort of my home and my family near me. I might not have understood that elsewhere until I’d arrived there and then longed to be elsewhere. Scott, you are such a very special person. Your talents astound me.
